Incoming teachers and staff

Dear Partners!

We would like to invite academic teachers to visit our university as part of the Erasmus+ program – the Teaching Staff Mobility visit (STA) and administrative staff to visit our university as part of the Erasmus+ program – the other staff mobility visit (STT).

Internationalisation is one of the priorities for our institution, which is why a meeting with the colleagues from the partners’ universities is a precious opportunity for sharing experience between the academic staff from both sides. The programme enables teacher’ staff to spend a teaching period of up to 5 working days – or at least 8 teaching hours – at our institution. Other staff members of higher education institutions are welcome to spend a training period of up to 5 working days at our institution. 

As the host university we are convinced that the objectives of such a visit would be noticeable: most of all, this would allow students to benefit from the knowledge of the foreign academic staff and experience on pedagogical methods. The STA mobility is a unique promotion of exchange and motivate not only students but also staff to become more mobile. 

Moreover, the Erasmus+ staff visit would also be an opportunity for us to present our beautiful city, regional culture and impressive mountainous landscape! In order to organize such a visit, after the nomination at the home institution, the teacher should contact an Erasmus+ coordinator from the proper faculty at our university, where she/he would like to "do" the teaching hours.

PLEASE NOTE! It is important to complete the following steps before the STA visit:

• After being selected by the home university please contact Erasmus coordinator of the proper faculty at our university.
• The home and host universities need to agree on the teaching programme of the visiting teachers prior to the start of the mobility period.
• The grant (subsistence allowance and travel costs) is always provided by the home university.

PLEASE NOTE! It is important to complete the following steps before the mobility visit (STT):

• As being selected by the home university please contact our IRO and we will contact the proper department in order to organized the most suitable visit for you.
• The home and host universities need to agree on the workprogramme submitted by a staff member. The plan needs to consist of at least:
  - overall aim and objectives
  - expected results from the training,
  - an agenda of the mobility period.
• The grant (subsistence allowance and travel costs) is always provided by the home university.
