Medical insurance is compulsory for all foreign students: in order to be entitle to public medical services during the stay in Poland, the students from EU countries should bring European Health Insurance Card.
The students from non-EU/EEA countries should also purchase a health insurance in his/her home country, before departure.
Visa issues:
EU/EEA citizens - an EU citizen can enter Poland with his/her ID document (a valid travel document e.g. passport, or another document certifying an identity and citizenship).
Non-EU/EEA citizens - a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country can enter the territory of Poland on the basis of a valid travel document (passport) and a visa (if required). In case if visa is required, a student from non-EU/EEA countries has to obtain it from the consulate of Poland in his/her country of residence.
