From 25^th to 30^th of November 2024, the University of Bielsko-Biala hosted the participants of the Blended Intensive Programme “Communication and Education Using EdTech Tools” organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

The BIP was a form of dissemination and testing the results of the intellectual outcomes achieved within the framework of the Academy4Business project by the UBB and the partner institutions: the Regional Development Agency S. A. in Bielsko-Biała, the Technical University of Ostrava, Digiskills s.r.o., Regional Chamber of Commerce Moraiva-Silesia, Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme and Lurtis Rules. As such, the participants of that international event had come to us from the countries in which those institutions are active: Czechia, Estonia and Spain. Naturally, there were also the Polish students participating, representing the hosts.

The leading topic of the programme was employment of the innovative tools in the process of education and especially – using the artificial intelligence tools in that process. The task for the participants, divided into project groups, was to develop and present an educational project employing the innovative tools.

Besides of that, the participants were also acquainted with the campus of the University of Bielsko-Biala during the campus tour, as well as with the city of Bielsko-Biała, where a city game, prepared by mgr Maria Kubica was held and a complementary city tour followed. Those activities were delivered by Bartosz Dębowski from the International Relations Office of the UBB.

The workshops and the lectures during the BIP were given by: mgr Barbara Dvorakova (VSB), mgr Kamila Smutna (VSB), dr Agnieszka Będkowska-Kopczyk (UBB), dr Agnieszka Zielińska (UBB), dr Dagmara Mika (UBB), dr Jarosław Jabłonka (UBB), dr Piotr Dziwiński (UBB) and mgr inż. Bartosz Dębowski.

On Thursday, 28^th of November 2024, there was organised a trip to Kraków, during which the participants visited the Museum of Engineering and Technology at the Kazimierz district, then moved to experience some of the likes of the Kraków Old Town.

The last day, 29^th of November 2024 was for concluding the event. The participants delivered their presentations which were evaluated by the UBB teachers. After that, our guests departed from Bielsko-Biała, as we hope – filled with good impressions and enriched with new knowledge.
