At the end of the year, the Institute of Modern Languages academic staff, engaged in the E+ IDEREC project, shared the outcomes of their work. Przemysław Brom and. Małgorzata Raułyk-Dumanow became co-authors of an academic textbook for teaching reading comprehension in the German language.
Additionally, Katarzyna Ożańska-Ponikwia and Elwira Lewandowska, along with other project consortium members, successfully collaborated on a textbook for teaching reading comprehension in the English language. Both publications are intended for both students and teachers, serving as valuable educational resources.
The new publications not only provide solid theoretical knowledge but also serve as practical tools for educators. They include ready-to-use lesson units, lesson plans, and valuable tips necessary for effective lesson delivery. Furthermore, the lessons in both textbooks are based on an innovative intervention program for teaching reading comprehension in a foreign language, which constitutes a key aspect of our project.
These publications not only maintain a high level of theoretical content but also inspire a creative approach to teaching foreign languages. By employing modern methods and practical tools, they have the potential to become an indispensable support for every student and teacher seeking to enrich their lessons and convey knowledge engagingly and efficiently!
