The University of Bielsko-Biala has become a partner in a project financed under the Erasmus+ program – Strategic Partnerships – Remember to Rememeber, 2021-1-CZ01-KA220-SCH-000032703.
The project is coordinated by the Technical University of Ostrava (VSB – Technicka Univerzita Ostrava), which has extensive experience in implementing international projects and with which UBB employees have already conducted various types of projects many times. In addition, the project partners include units from Iceland (Haskoli Islands) and Belgium (Hogeschool Gent).
The main goal of the project is to develop a tool for training prospective memory and metacognitive training, especially for a group of children with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
It includes activities to develop a comprehensive methodology for Prospective and Metacognitive Memory Training, which after the project is completed will be able to be used by young people with learning disabilities, children and young people with ASD and their families and educators.
Based on the scientific elements of the topic, teams from all participating universities will prepare a research monograph – a specialist publication covering the topic of prospective memory and metacognitive training.
The total budget of the Remember to Remember project is EUR 264,910, and it will be implemented until 31.12.2024. On the part of the University of Bielsko-Biala, the project coordinator is Dagmara Mika, PhD (e-mail: dmika@ath.bielsko.pl).
