The project team is carrying out the testing phase of tools for training prospective memory and metacognitive training.
These tools were developed as part of the Remember to Remember project, 2021-1-CZ01-KA220-SCH-000032703, financed by the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships program.
At this stage of the project, the team of specialists cooperates with institutions educating children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
Researchers of the Institute of Pedagogy and the Institute of Neophilology of the University of Bielsko-Biala, in a controlled environment, under the supervision of caregivers, conduct research on the practical verification of metacognitive-training intervention in children with ASD or learning disabilities and the development of a distant form of supporting prospective memory rehabilitation using innovative exercises developed as part of the project.
The next stage of the project will be the development of a research report and, subsequently, the preparation of a specialist publication (scientific monograph) on the subject of prospective memory and metacognitive training by a team from all partner universities: VSB – Technicka Univerzita Ostrava (Czech Republic), Haskoli Island (Iceland), Hogeschool Gent (Belgium) and the University of Bielsko-Biala.
